Compassion and the bodhisattva way - a dharma talk
The world today faces challenges - climate change, famine, epidemics, war - that require a united response across divisions and boundaries. Unfortunately, humanity is profoundly divided in many ways: political, racial, ethnic, geographical, economic. How can we learn to work across our divisions to meet these challenges, even if we cannot reach consensus on all the issues which divide us? Buddhism offers a number of practical approaches and techniques by which we may move towheads harmony and cooperation. This talk will outline some of the basics approaches; they are rooted in Buddhism but are available to people of any faith or no faith.
