The Sound of Compassion: Music, Stories and Hope for Our Community

Our Compassion Week 2026 closing event highlights how compassion grows through the stories we hear, the music we share, and the actions we take together. Experience what becomes possible when cultural, civic, faith, and nonprofit organizations such as the Harris County Public Library, the Ismaili Council and Compassionate Houston work together for the common good.

The gathering will offer an intermission space for refreshments, connection and simple gestures of kindness. Live music provided by the Apollo Chamber Players. Featured presenters include Apollo Chamber Players alongside additional artists.
