Courage & Compassion for Aging Consciously

We welcome you to join us in celebrating World Kindness Day and Compassion Week with The Jung Center’s Community for Conscious Aging!

When we feel lost or stuck in limiting beliefs and roles, how do we give ourselves permission to change? When difficult emotions act as roadblocks to authentic growth and relationship, what practices can help us return to quality connection - with ourselves and others?

These are just a few questions that may surface during midlife transitions. Whether we’ve recently retired, begun caregiving for aging parents, supported our children leaving home, or are facing another significant change- these thresholds require us to develop greater self-awareness and skills to navigate the terrain ahead.

  • In-Person Program

  • Facilitated by Jim Benton and Barbara Best

  • Join us for bagels and coffee before the workshop begins.

  • Please register early. Maximum capacity is 50 participants.

For more than sixty years, The Jung Center has served as a nonprofit resource unique to Houston - a forum for dynamic conversations across disciplines and perspectives about what matters most in our lives.

The Jung Center of Houston's Community for Conscious Aging (CCA) offers unique community events and activities where all are invited to explore their gifts and challenges.

We serve in community, find new purpose & passion, confront the cultural view of aging, consider end-of-life matters, combat isolation, and develop a deeper relationship with the unconscious in order to uncover what is coming alive within us.
