Unity of Houston, in partnership with Compassionate Houston’s Compassion Through the Arts, is proud to present an intimate, lyrical evening of poetry, music, and conversation.
In honor of Compassion Week 2025, Unity Fine Arts welcomes guest poets Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and James Crews, joining Kenneth Gayle (tenor and Director of Music and Fine Arts), Gary Norian (songwriter and pianist), and Michael Gott (Senior Minister and singer-songwriter) for a collaborative exploration of the art of language—through performance, dialogue, and shared experience.

Meet Unity Church
Unity of Houston offers uplifting, practical teachings to support spiritual growth and wholeness. Rooted in New Thought Christianity, we honor our Oneness with the Divine, ancient wisdom, and emerging science. Wherever you are on your journey, you’re welcome here.
Join us Sundays at 11 a.m. (English) or 9:45 a.m. (Spanish), and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the Pyramid for experiential Midweek gatherings. Unity is part of a global movement founded in 1889 by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. In community, we nurture and empower each other, transforming our lives, that we may serve the world. We value BEING - living from oneness with God and each other, BECOMING - healing and growing, and BELONGING - creating a spiritual home for all people.
